Organisation
The conference languages are Czech, Slovak and English. Presentations have a reserved time of 20 minutes, 15 minutes for presentation itself and 5 minutes for discussion. We kindly ask presenters to respect the allotted time (don't forget the discussion). Presentations in the Youth Section are mandatory in English.
A data projector connected to a Windows computer is available. As every year, the committee will evaluate the level and clarity of the presentations in the Youth Section. The best presentations will be awarded a prize. Good luck!
Poster session
Posters will be posted throughout the conference, please post them immediately on Tuesday morning. Poster boards will be located in the middle hall. Posters and company displays can be viewed throughout both days, with the core area reserved for the poster session in two sessions, odd numbered posters are presented on Tuesday from 17:30 and even numbered posters are presented on Wednesday from 14:00. The presentations will be made directly at the posters in a "commented" manner, so we ask poster authors to prepare a short introduction about their contribution for a maximum of 1–2 minutes. This will also free up time for any questions and discussion. Presentations will still be viewable on Wednesday, i.e. please keep the posters posted until the end of the event. We also ask the presenting authors to be available near their posters during the poster session.
During the conference, we are announcing a public voting competition for the most successful poster of the conference, which you will participate in. You will receive a ballot when you register and it is up to you to decide which three posters to nominate for the award. Voting will close on Wednesday after the last coffee break and the authors of the top three posters will be awarded a small gift.
